Arsenal v Monaco - Arsenal only team to score
Arsenal will have been delighted to be drawn at home to Monaco in the first knock-out round of the Champions League. The Gunners couldn't have asked for a much better draw given Monaco's average Ligue 1 form this season and the quality of other teams still in the competition.
The likes of David Ospina and Per Mertesacker have performed well recently and led their team to two clean sheets in their last three home matches and given that Leonardo Jardim's men have drawn blanks in three of their last five matches we're tipping a home win to nil in this clash.
Bayer Leverkusen v Atletico Madrid - Under 2.5 goals
Atletico Madrid's success in the last two seasons has been built on a very solid backline. Diego Godin has marshalled a defence that has reached one Champions League final and won a La Liga title with head coach Diego Simeone placing importance on the team's organisation especially away from home.
Don't expect them to do too much attacking in this fixture. Bayer Leverkusen failed to score in their last two Champions League outings so we fancy los Colchoneros to look for a low scoring game, either a 0-0 or 1-0 victory before finishing of TSV at the Vicente Calderon in a few weeks time.
Nottingham Forest v AFC Bournemouth - Over 2.5 goals
On the contrary, you can expect goals galore in this Championship fixture at the City Ground. Nottingham Forest have scored 14 goals in their last four matches since Dougie Freedman took the manager's position with winger Chris Burke in particularly good form, scoring four in his last three.
AFC Bournemouth are the most efficient attacking outfit in the league though having racked up more goals than any other team so far. Players like Matt Ritchie, Yann Kermogant and Callum Wilson will provide plenty of danger for the Tricky Trees' backline to consider. Expect goals here.
Atletico Mineiro v Atlas - Home win -1
Atletico Mineiro are unsurprisingly heavy favourites for this Copa Libertadores clash against Atlas. Alvinegro did lose their first game of the competition last week away to Colo Colo but at home they're one of the strongest teams in the competition and they'll prove to be too strong for this Atlas side.
The visitors from Mexico lost their first game of the competition too, at home against Santa Fe, and they also lost two of their seven games in the Mexican Liga MX season so far too. They don't have the quality to upset this Atletico side, who have the ability to win this one with ease.
