It would be tempting to go for a City win seeing as Liverpool are in action again at midday on Sunday after playing 120 minutes of ultimately unsuccessful Europa League football on Thursday night – and then losing a penalty shootout to Besiktas – before having to travel home from Turkey.
But the Premier League champions have not won on their last 12 visits to Anfield and the Reds’ domestic form has been very strong, so the stalemate looks the best bet.

Tottenham are another team who face a quick turnaround from a Europa League away day and having failed to win any of their last four matches, they look vulnerable again.
