Manchester City v Newcastle United - Manchester City -1
Newcastle United haven't had a happy time against Manchester City in recent years. The Magpies may have beaten the Citizens in the League Cup earlier in the season but the men in Blue have won the last ten Premier League meetings between the two sides and they haven't even conceded in the last five.
All of these five victories have seen City win by more than one goal and we expect the same outcome in this game. Manuel Pellegrini's men know they can't afford any more home slip-ups so the likes of Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure and David Silva will be looking to put the visitors to the sword with a few goals in this clash.
Atletico Madrid v Almeria - Atletico Madrid only team to score
Atletico Madrid's success over the last few seasons has been built around a very solid defence. Whilst the likes of Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann give los Colcheneros a real attacking verve, it's the form of Diego Godin and company that has allowed for Diego Simeone's attacking players to flourish.
Almeria will make the trip in low confidence as they lie in 16th place in the table and other than Israeli forward Tomer Hemed who has scored seven La Liga goals this season, Indalicos will offer little in the way of a goal threat to Atleti at the Vicente Calderon.
Cercle Brugge v Zulte Waregem - Away win
Both Cercle Brugge and Zulte Waregem are struggling this season. Zulte Waregem haven't won in four but with not many games remaining in the Belgian top tier this season they can be confident of remaining in the division as they currently occupy a comfortable 10th place and they have some real quality in their squad.
The same cannot be said of this Cercle Brugge outfit however. They've incredibly lost their last six matches on the bounce and in front of their furious home crowd at the Jan Breydelstadion, we expect that run to continue in this fixture.
Caen v Lens - Home win
Caen are in fantastic form in the French top tier. Having struggled massively before the winter break and not managing a win in ten matches in all competitions, Patrice Garande's men have won four and drawn one of their last five games and even the draw was away to title holders Paris Saint Germain.
Lens meanwhile have not managed a win in their last six competitive matches and as a result they unexpectedly find themselves in the relegation zone. This away match against an in-form Caen is unlikely to be the match in which they break out of this awful spell.
