The weekend is fast approaching and we're hoping to welcome it in with a big winner on Friday night with this 27/2 fourfold with William Hill.
Go to William Hill Friday's games page and back the following fourfold bet which would return £145.06 for a £10 stake if all correct (individual odds in brackets):
Canada v Iceland - Away win (23/20)
Cheltenham Town v Morecambe - No on both teams to score (8/11)
Bordeaux v OGC Nice - Home win (evens)
Club Brugge v KV Mechelen - Bruges to win -1 (19/20)
William Hill are offering competitive odds for all four selections, the reasoning for which is as follows:
Canada's national team is beginning to make strides due to the effect of teams such as the Vancouver Whitecaps and Toronto FC in the MLS. That said, the Canucks still have a long way to go until they can compete at a decent level. They've managed just a single victory in their last 19 matches.
Iceland on the other hand are at a higher level. After kicking off their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign with three wins from their first four matches, Lars Lagerback's men are looking in great shape at the moment. They even managed to beat Holland in one of those qualifying matches and they'll fancy themselves to get the better of the Canadians in this clash.
Both of these teams have struggled for goals recently. Morecambe have drawn blanks in four of their last five matches and Cheltenham Town have been prevented from scoring in three of their last five. Shrimps attacker Jack Redshaw is the only player who has bagged five goals so far this season.
The Robins are struggling for confidence as well at the moment having won just won in their last seven and lying a few places above the relegation zone, but the Shrimps aren't in much better condition with just one win in five. We can't see many goals in this game which is why we're backing a no on both teams to score.
Bordeaux have recorded a couple of decent results since returning from the winter break to get their season back on track. Three consecutive defeats before Christmas had been tough to take for Les Girondis fans but a handy away point versus Monaco and a cup victory against rivals Toulouse will have lifted their spirits somewhat.
Sitting in 6th place and just six points behind PSG in fourth, Willy Sagnol's men have a real chance of returning to European competition this season. They'll certainly need to pick up victories in home games versus weaker opposition such as Nice, who have won just one of their last four games and sit in 12th position.
Club Brugge are one of the forces of Belgian football and this year they're enjoying some particularly excellent form. With 21 games on the board, Blauw-Zwart sit top of the table, four points clear of second placed Anderlecht and playing with some real confidence and swagger at the minute.
Four wins from their last four will only serve to boost that confidence further and they even managed to smash in an amazing sixteen goals in that time which indicates just how good their frontline is. KV Mechelen are a distinctly average side in the Beligan Pro-League and we're expecting them to be brushed aside with ease at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Friday night.
