It's the first Saturday of the New Year and we're looking towards the FA Cup to bring us a big winner to kick off 2015's weekend betting.
Go to William Hill FA Cup page and back the following fourfold bet which would return £180.76 for a £10 stake if all correct (individual odds in brackets):
Barnsley v Middlesbrough - Away win (4/5)
Brentford v Brighton & Hove Albion - Home win (23/20)
West Bromwich Albion v Gateshead - Home win-2 (17/10)
Preston North End v Norwich City - Both teams to score (8/11)
William Hill are the bookmaker of choice for the accumulator because they are offering competitive odds about all four selections, the reasoning for which is as follows:
Barnsley v Middlesbrough - Away win (4/5)
Barnsley are having a tough time in League One this season. After years of struggling in the Championship, the Tykes will have been hoping for a more successful season in a lower division but as things stand they find themselves in the bottom half down in 16th place. They even needed a replay to overcome Conference outfit Chester in Round 2, after drawing the original game 0-0 at Oakwell.
This match will prove to be a much more difficult one. Middlesborough are set to bring a big away following to South Yorkshire and they'll be hoping to see yet another victory for the Teesside outfit. Boro are chasing promotion from the Championship this season and have a much stronger squad than Barnsley on paper, so this should result in a fairly simple away win for them.
Brentford v Brighton & Hove Albion - Home win (23/20)
Brentford may come into this match on the back of consecutive defeats, but games against Ipswich Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers were bound to prove difficult. The Bees are still enjoying an astonishing season and they are still clinging onto the final play-off position in sixth, a position that Brighton and Hove Albion would happily take now.
The Seagulls have endured a tough time this season and although new boss Chris Hughton will take charge of the team on the back of a three game unbeaten streak, the lowly position of 21st is not a reassuring one for the former Ireland international and he'll be forgiven for wanting to concentrate on his team's league form in the first few weeks of his reign.
West Bromwich Albion v Gateshead - Home win-2 (17/10)
It's always exciting to see a Premier League outfit go up against non-league opposition, but we're not expecting lowly Gateshead to take anything from this difficult match at West Bromwich Albion. Whilst the Tynesiders are undoubtedly a very decent Conference National side, they do not have the quality to test this opposition.
We think this one will be a landslide for the Baggies. Tony Pulis takes charge of the Midlands club for the first time and he'll be hoping to take a good look at his squad while the players themselves will be hoping to impress their new boss. Expect plenty of goals and a comfortable victory for the home team in this one, although the Heed Army are likely to enjoy their day out regardless.
Preston North End v Norwich City - Both teams to score (8/11)
Norwich City will be delighted to have avoided Premier League and Championship opposition, but they could've hoped for an easier draw than a long trip north to Deepdale. PNE have had a good season so far in League One and their home form has been terrific as the men from Lancashire look to finally return to the second tier.
Main man Joe Garner may not feature but the Lilywhites still have plenty of firepower in attack with Bolton loanee likely to partner former Blackburn man Paul Gallagher in attack. The visitors have several talented forwards of their own though with Cameron Jerome, Lewis Grabban and Gary Hooper scoring 22 goals between them so far this term.
