It may well be a tough test for Man City, but there is no doubt they are capable of getting three points in this one. On a high from the fantastic 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich - they'll be in great shape for this one.
The visitors have Manuel Pellegrini to call upon too and he's arguably the best striker in the World right now or at least the most in-form. He can win games on his own and Southampton will do well to deal with his threat on Sunday.
City's away form isn't as good as they'd like, but goals are always in their locker. Only once have they scored less than twice on the road in the Premier League since March.
The Saints will of course bring their own attacking threat, but if City are in full flow - regardless of the home side's form - there is only one team winning this one.
Perhaps it's time for a Southampton off day too. Every team has a blip or a poor result every now and then. The hosts are overdue and with Aguero and Man City in town - Sunday could be their worst moment of the season.
It's certainly worth backing City at 6/1 safe in the knowledge that you get money back if they fail to get all three points.
